There could be a new Riddick film- but it's in the hands of you the fans! The story coming up next...
Hey guys I'm Andrea Feczko for Clevver Movies.
Vin Diesel is ready to do a new Chronicles of Riddick, but are you the fans ready? That's the question Vin Diesel posted on his Facebook today to decide the fate of the series.
Diesel starts the post with "Grrrrrr"- no, I am not joking- "In order for us to make a true R rated film, I must work for scale upfront. Money is always second to art, but can I suspend my life to venture to the dark place? I need to hear from Our Collective.. . you"
What this means is: Diesel will be taking a major pay cut, working a union scale rate and only making the big bucks if- and only if- it makes a profit. And that money won't be seen for years down the road. So, logically, he wants to know if people will actually go see it.
So far the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive with 30,000 people liking it in just one day.
