When I am Down and Depressed!

Every so often I get depressed and down on myself BUT i tun to one artist to bring me back to a hype status and feeling Better and that would be DMX .... yeah I know he has had many problems with himself. SO THE FUCK WHAT every time he puts a CD out he puts a Prayer on it and lets the lord know he still here doing his will ... If you ever really sit down and listen to his tracks you will have a Deeper understanding of life (well his life) but if you so happen to have things in your life match things in his (No I'm not talking about the CARS and music but, his life in general) you will Begin to respect him as a man ... How many artist have you seen be on stage knowing that they are asthmatic and about to kill they self BUT keep going Not many cause most are only out for themselves. Now that i have ranted about one of who i think is the deepest and most heart felt artist out there here is his prayer and the track i believe is one of RAP's best tracks to date.

Let us pray
Father please walk with us through the bad times as well as the good
May we be heard and understood from the suburbs to the hood
May you judge us by our hearts and not by our mistakes
And see that we get a breakthrough however long that it takes

But lately so many of us have gone a stray
Doing wrong for so long that we've forgotten the way
Please bring us back home and still in us the word witch is our backbone
Which is children that act grown
There is so much that we're entitled to yet we receive so little
Cause in this time of spiritual warfare we're comfortable in the middle
So I pray that you open our eyes
Give us the unknowing to recognize the devil and his lies
If we keep our actions wise and our prays sincere
Our heads to the sky you will demonised our fears
