Review: Halloween II (2009)

Review:

On a scale of 1-10 i give this movie a (8)

I went to see this movie last night and enjoyed the movie over all. However some of it has me wondering What the hell was he thinking .. Changing the actor who played Michael Myers (Chase Wright Vanek) as a child The new kid kinda was better BUT i mean when doing sequels I believe that actors should stay the same no matter. As an adult his Michael Myers(Tyler Mane)seemed to have a pretty good idea of what to do as a killer .. I liked how he would over kill some of the Victims That was enjoyable, well I am kinda sick like that I love when a killer in a movie goes all Blood bath on his prey. So now as the movie started with the Deborah Myers(Sheri Moon Zombie)enters the hospital where Young mike is being held and he goes on to tell his mom about the White horse in his dreams "which his the theme for some of the movie" then all of as sudden it goes too a Bad Hospital scene Which is what made me cringe in my seat they had the gore factor was off the scale "I loved it" and enjoyed every second of it.

Now as for rest of move. Some scenes did not fit nearly through out the whole movie Mike was seeing MOM and His young self as and they was talking to him.. " I must say though Sheri Moon Looked Damn good in the white and black dresses". So the movie focuses on his Sister Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton) and she doesn't know she is his sister till she picks up Dr. Loomis' (Malcolm McDowell) book titled "The Devil walks among us" she then flips out and goes off to a party where all of a sudden Mike shows up and Hacks up a couple of kids in a van who was going to have sex and as usual They don't get to actually do the dead cause Mike Kills then ahead of time .. after a while Laurie freaks out when she sees her mom and Younger brother as a hallucination she then gets is seen drunk and leaving with her friend she makes it home where she walks and finds the house torn up and walks in bath room to find her Best friend Annie Brackett (Danielle Harris)(she also played Jamie Lloyd in the Original series of Halloween movies both 4 and 5) hacked up then she sends her Friend (dumb idea) down stairs BY her self to call 911. While she was down there of course Mike Kills her. Then he comes up stairs Bust in bath room. She then Runs out the door and through a field comes up on a car Yes i know the whole theater was screaming HURRY!!!! and well Guess what after the guy in car gets her in car Mike kills him then while she is screaming inside the car he picks it up and flips the car over and knocks her out. He then pulls her from the burning car and is lead by his mom and younger self to a shack in the middle of a field. Laurie sees her mom and her younger brother as Mike does and while younger brother holds her down she talks to her mom while mike watches this all go down. Then Dr. Loomis' shows up and walks in to talk to Mike .. he sees her down on ground By herself and says come on she tells him i cant he is holding me (I know whats up with the link between Mike and Laurie with both seeing the same thing) he then tells her "Its in your mind!" after that Deborah tells mike to kill the Dr. and he does of course. Now while he is doing this the Police shoot through the windows and mike falls back on some Farm tractor thing and impales himself. when this happens the Vision of his mom and younger self disappear. Laurie then craws over to Mike and rubs his face saying "I love you brother" then rubs his face he pulls the knife up then drops it, she then picks it up and starts stabbing him repeatedly and kills him. Now out to scene outside the shack it shows the door and Laurie walks out with Mask on her face and holding knife. ... Now scene jumps to a mental ward where she is in an all white room with her head down camera come sin on her face she cracks a smile starting from one side to the other (EVIL SMILE TOO). and then she looks up and sees her mom coming down hall with that white horse.

Now I hope anyone who hasn't seen the movie and read this goes out and enjoys the movie.
